Anapurna back in the groove in Prix de Royallieu at ParisLongchamp

Anapurna benefited by Frankie Dettori from another nice trip to obtain a Group One success of the season in the Prix de Royallieu in ParisLongchamp.
Even the John Gosden-trained filly showed the courage and determination which had witnessed her triumph in the Oaks at Epsom but she had just had one outing because victory, when defeated at the Prix Vermeille won by her stablemate Star Catcher.
Dettori was about the winner that afternoon, but he was reunited with Anapurna now and bounced out into an early lead.
Dettori managed to dictate the speed to his liking, Since he has done so several times around the Paris monitor, but Anapurna had to fend off several competitions.
The very first persistent challenger was Lah Ti Dar and once she began to fade Enbihaar, a second inmate, started to make constant progress from the back together with Aidan OBriens Delphina.
Each time it looked like Anapurna was starting to tire she proved the one-mile-six trip and only managed to come across somewhat more wasnt any issue.
Following a question, the stewards abandoned the outcome unchanged, although there was a little scrimmaging on the run into the point, with Delphina seeming to come off worst.
