Rhys Patchell forced off in Wales’ final World Cup warm-up match with head injury

Wales have suffered an injury scare only weeks after Rhys Patchell was driven off through the Test match.
The abandoned the pitch in the Aviva Stadium to get a head-injury assessment through the first half after colliding with CJ Stander.
He was replaced by Dan Biggar and did not go back to the game.
Patchell has suffered an injury-hit effort, suffering concussion and hamstring difficulties, and was producing his first Test start in.
The Scarlets player only secured his position in Wales’ World Cup squad following an impressive try-scoring performance in a week’s defeat to Ireland in Cardiff.
Warren Gatland is without first-choice fly-half Gareth Anscombe, that sustained a severe knee injury during Wales’ first World Cup warm-up match against England last month and will miss the tournament in Japan.
Wales begin their World Cup campaign against Georgia.
